She was very kind, and my appetizer (Fried Pickles) and side (Greens) were amazing. However the main dishes were lacking. The Shrimp Alfredo sauce tasted like it was from a jar, and my grandma ordered the chicken and mashed potatoes. The potatoes tasted like box mix potatoes. It was decent but did not feel like soul food to either of us.

Tonight was my first time trying the fried chicken here. It was amazing. I have had snoots here before and they are always great. Some of the best greens I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The guy who took out order was friendly and mentioned that customers are the reason that they are able to stay in business. His appreciation was appreciated. Would recommend to anyone

I had your fried chicken meal a 2 sides. Plus order of fried mushrooms a Mac a cheese. Every was amazing but your mashed potatoes. Was flavorless a no seasoning tasted like store bought potatoes I hope you make better in the future. I will be back.

Listen if I walk into a place and the chef is referred to as "Auntie".... the soul in Soul Food resides within! Lovett's food gave me the southern feel in a small town. I mean the Chicken Alfredo and their signature sauce were heaven sent, And it was wrapped in a warm atmosphere. They way the people of the area interacted you would think this place was a community pillar and more well known. Well it needs to be! Will for sure be going again and again!

The server was attentive. The food was good. We were a party of 3. Protein Fish, rib tips and turkey tips. Sides greens, spaghetti, sweet potatoes,cold slaw,okra,fries and Mac and Cheese.. Everyone uses seasoning different. The turkey tips were not what I expected in 606 the are chopped like tips, but again this is how it's done there. We will go back again when in the area. The server and the kitchen staff knew there customers. Someone traveled 2 hours to get food from Lovett's another man told of his dietary restrictions and they adapted. Well Done

Home made goodness is found here. Make your next take out or dine in at Lovett's. We ate some of our food before taking pictures.

If you don't do anything else the rest of your life. You should try Snout with a side of fried pickles. If you don't know what snout is you'll just have to check it out! Food was delicious! Comming back again and again till I've had everything on the menu at least once.
